14 Day Hires: Due Back 14 days after your requested date
28 Day Hires: Due Back 28 days after your requested date
60 Day Hires: Due Back 60 days after your requested date
Full Season Hires: A season is 6 months maximum ending either 30 June or 31 December.

Whenever a wetsuit is ordered it will be delivered by us on or before the delivery date (unless ordered last minute) and should be returned from you by the return date to avoid any late fees.

Wetsuit rental
The cost of hiring the suit is shown as per Table 1 above and does not include any shipping fees. Shipping is normally overnight to main centres and 2 to 3 days to outlying areas excluding weekends and public holidays. If you require the wetsuit faster or to be delivered on a Saturday, please let us know and we will send you the appropriate shipping charges.
Wetsuit Care
Wetsuits need to be handled gently when fitting and especially when fitting for the first time. Instructions are provided with the wetsuit and are available on our website. The general message is put it on slowly - take 15-20 minutes the first time (as you become more proficient you will be able to reduce this time considerably). The wetsuits should fit snugly (if you are new to fitting a swim specific wetsuit it will feel tight the first time) - this is good, and will mean the wetsuit will provide a snug fit in the water. Please read full instructions on our website. All wetsuits are dispatched as new or almost new and checked before shipping.
We will send a more detailed care instruction email but would like to draw your attention to.
Swimming in chlorinated water is not allowed in the wetsuit as the chlorine will dry out the neoprene and make the suit unsellable. If you have swum in chlorinated water you will have to purchase the suit.
Wetsuit Purchase
All of our rental wetsuits are available to purchase - they are the ultimate - TRY BEFORE YOU BUY - you need to contact us before the end of the rental period if you wish to purchase the wetsuit to avoid incurring late fees. The purchase price is based on the recommended retail price (RRP) of the wetsuits and not any sale offers available on other websites. Table 2 below shows the pay in to transfer ownership of the suit.

Wetsuit Damage
If you have damaged the wetsuit, please contact us and we can advise whether it is better to keep the wetsuit. Any cuts to the wetsuit are charged as per Table 3 below. If it is damaged such that we cannot economically repair or resell you will have to purchase the wetsuit.

If your wetsuit is damaged we will notify you of that damage by e-mail.
Wetsuit Return
If you are returning the wetsuit, firstly check it carefully for any Damage such as cuts in the neoprene. The wetsuit must be received at the RETURN ADDRESS no later than the RETURN DATE. We advise returning by Signed Delivery so we have to sign for the parcel and you have confirmation of when it was delivered. The wetsuit is your responsibility until we have signed for it.
If it is delivered a day after the return date, we will charge a late return fee. Late fees can be seen in Table 4 below.

You are responsible for the wetsuit until we have received it. If it gets lost in the post this is your responsibility. If you choose to ship back by non signed for postage this is at your risk and if we do not receive the wetsuit you will be liable for the Balance to Purchase plus any weekly arrears.
During the season we get a large number of wetsuits back each week. We will send a confirmation email to you on receipt of your wetsuit. If you have not heard from us within a week, please call us to confirm we have in fact received it back.
At the end of each season's rental period (end June and end December) we receive a larger than normal amount of suits back and as such we ask that you allow us additional time to process these.
Please ensure you keep your proof of delivery as if you return your suit but you do not include your name or order number; these will be put to one side to be resolved at a later date. We will not be able to allocate any wetsuit that has been returned with no name or order number unless you have the proof of delivery to confirm that suit was yours.
If we have to chase you for payment, we will bill you for the recovery process as per Table 5 below. If we have made an arrangement for a reduced fee then this offer will be available for only 48 hours. After that time we reserve the right to charge the original fees as per Table 5.

Please note that if you have had anything printed onto the suit we will not accept this back and the suit must be bought by the renter as it is then unsaleable/hire-able.
Require the Wetsuit for Longer
If you require the wetsuit beyond the return date then please contact us by Phone and confirm your intentions by email to rentals@fluidlines.co.za. The additional weekly rental will be as per the Table1 above. If you do not contact us by the end of the initial hire period the weekly rental will be as per the Table 6 below.

Note: any such additional costs are not included when calculating the balance to purchase, so it is sometimes easier to purchase the wetsuit.
Wetsuit requiring cleaning or drying
The wetsuit needs to be returned clean and dry. If our warehouse needs to dry or clean the wetsuit, we will pass on any such costs directly to you as per Table 7 below.

We provide advice on how to put a wetsuit on for the first time. Please STOP and READ these instructions at the bottom of this page BEFORE you try the wetsuit as these are delicate products that must be handled gently to avoid damage. Please note that it is important that you provide your accurate measurements of height, weight and chest. We will try to advise you by e-mail if we consider you require a different size. If you are not used to triathlon wetsuits you may find them initially uncomfortably tight. However they do give once in the water.
It is advisable to rather visit one of our stores so that we may assist in the correct sizing and fitting for the suit to be hired. A correctly fitted and sized suit delivers better results every time.
EXCHANGES
If you decide that your wetsuit is not the correct size for you then you must CALL US before deciding whether to return the wetsuit. Please call on 021 853 0000 and speak to us or leave a message. We will ask you if you have watched the video "How to put your swim wetsuit on" If you still consider the wetsuit is the incorrect size then we ask you to confirm your exchange request by email to rentals@fluidlines.co.za. If we agree that the size needs changing please use the ONLINE returns process within your completed online order. Return your wetsuit to the RETURNS address, we will then exchange the wetsuit. We advise ordering your wetsuit some 10 days before it is required. If you return your wetsuit and require it being returned in the same week, we will require R 150.00 for the PRIORITY delivery.
Take your time at least 15-20 minutes the first time. Don't try it on for the first time just before your race – there is a high chance you may damage it if you are hurrying.
If the wetsuit is faulty please contact us immediately for a replacement stating the issue and we will replace immediately.
TOP TIPS for putting a wetsuit on!
A wetsuit should be put on when you are dry. Nails should be cut & not sharp. Remove watches or Jewellery. Use plastic bags or a sock over the feet, and hands to help when putting it on. Avoid nail contact with the outer surface - use finger tips! Pull legs on first as far as you can (the bottom of the wetsuit should be well up your calf); then pull on the upper body of the suit. Triathlon specific wetsuits are fragile race equipment and require careful use. The suits are made to be put on slowly, and take enough time to get the suit on correctly. Take care not to "nick " or snag the surface of the suit with your fingernails. Race wetsuits are made to take off quickly when done correctly. Use a lubricant (e.g. Bodyglide) but NEVER Vaseline as this destroys the neoprene.

Incorrect Address
If you enter an incomplete address we will be unable to refund you if the wetsuit is shipped but can’t be delivered. If we incur an additional charge from the courier you will be liable for that charge. You can correct an incorrect address within your account but you need to ensure we know about that change by confirming via e-mail.
Wetsuit unable to be delivered
We recommend you provide a mobile number, you will receive a text message when the wetsuit has been collected and a text on the morning of delivery giving the expected time of delivery. If you are not in, we cannot accept a cancellation at this point. You will need to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery or collection. You should not refuse the delivery in any circumstance. The reason for this is that it is cheaper to return the wetsuit yourself than what the courier company will charge for non delivery. The courier charges will be re-charged to you.
Cancelled Orders
It is possible to cancel a hire at any time until it has been shipped. If an order is cancelled before shipping there will be no charge levied other than the bank refund fee if applicable. If you try to cancel a wetsuit by rejecting the delivery, please be aware that this will incur a heavy penalty from the courier company that will be deducted from your deposit. Please note that once a wetsuit has been shipped we can no longer refund anything from your order.
An email must be followed up by a phone call in order to cancel an order prior to it being shipped.
